LOTR music

One of my favorite parts of the Lord of the Rings movies is the music!  So here I have collected some of my fave pieces.  Which one do you like best?  Enjoy!

Concerning Hobbits

Evenstar (Arwen’s theme)

The Ring Goes South (start of the adventure)

Lothlorien

Shadowfax

Riders of Rohan (+ Eowyn’s theme and King of the Golden Hall)

Minas Tirith

I LOVE Lord of the Rings music as well!!!!!!! (the extent to which I adore it is, I hope, evident due to the number of exclamation points lol) Not to mention Narnia music as well…and the Thor soundtrack sounds pretty epic (actually I didn’t watch Thor, just heard some of the music from the next room).

I just finished reading LOTR…right now I’m in the appendices, and the history is quite cool. It is somewhat, shall we say, out of the ordinary that we are tracking the history of civilizations that never existed! Doesn’t mean I don’t enjoy it…

    • Thanks for the likes and comment! Yep, movie music is awesome! (The Thor movie’s pretty good, BTW, as is Captain America :).)

You finished LOTR! I like the appendices…they really show how much thought Tolkien put into developing the series! Talk about a backstory….. 🙂

    • I know! LOTR music can be cheerful, sad, lonely, mysterious, stirring, inspiring…so many things! Is there an official Hobbit soundtrack out yet? We just watched the movie and I loved the Dwarves’ song and the way it was worked into a major theme 😀
