Mini lighthouses from Pringles cans!

Okay, these are SUPER cool! I love lighthouses, and we had the summer camp kids make these neat models from everyday things.

Just cover a clean Pringles can with colored paper, and decorate with markers and duct tape.

To make a “working” lighthouse…
-Cut a circle a little smaller than a battery tea-light out of the Pringles lid.
-Use rubber cement or superglue to stick the tea-light to the lid, making sure the on-off switch is accessible.
-Glue on a plastic fruit cup upside-down over the light for the dome.
-Let dry overnight.
-Take the lid off to switch the light on and off.

And viola! A cute, personalized lighthouse that actually works!

    • As a matter of fact, I can’t wait to make one 😀 I think it’d be so cool if we got the family to each decorate and make their own 8)
